OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A reward has been increased to $8,000 for information leading to the identity of the shooter or shooters responsible for the murder of 28-year old Stoney Mathis on June 7th outside his Fort Walton Beach area home.

Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $3,000 reward for information and the Florida Sheriff’s Association Criminal Apprehension Assistance Program has chipped in another $5,000 towards the reward.

To be eligible for the $8,000 reward the anonymous tip MUST come through Crime Stoppers.

Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office investigators have released photos of a gray sedan that may have been at or near the scene of the shooting. A search is underway for a light gray or silver Kia Soul.
