PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Florida Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle crash on Thomas Drive at Paparazzi Gourmet Deli Sunday evening that left one person with serious injuries.

Investigators said a blue sedan was traveling southbound on Thomas Drive, passing vehicles improperly in the continuous left turning lane.

They said a white pickup truck was exiting the Paparazzi Gourmet Deli to make a left turn onto Thomas Drive when the sedan collided into the left side of it.

The driver of the sedan, a 26-year-old from Missouri, was transported to Ascension Sacred Heart for serious injuries.

The driver and four other passengers of the truck, from Arkansas, did not sustain any injuries.

This caused the outside lane for northbound traffic to be partially blocked for a temporary period of time.
