PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Last December, two Kentucky children lost their lives after being hit by a truck on a local miniature golf course. Now, their memory lives on through a foundation.

The Addie and Baylor Kirchgessner Foundation is a non-profit with the mission of making others laugh and smile, just like Addie and Baylor did.

Their parents set up the Foundation with their children’s hobbies and heroes in mind. Some projects include remodeling their kids’ school library and playground and donating equipment to local golf programs.

“In the right almost nine months now that they’ve been gone, they’ve done a lot and made a big impact in this world and we’re just at the beginning,” father Matt Kirchgessner said.

The parents are asking local businesses and residents to support the Addie and Baylor Kirchgessner Foundation. They’re hosting a golf scramble event on October 1st at Bay Point Golf Club in Panama City.
