PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - It was another hot and humid day for Northwest Florida! Hang in there, because tomorrow is going to be another hot one!

Temperatures today climbed into the low 90s along the coast and upper 90s inland with heat indexes in the triple digits. Tonight’s temperatures will be warm too with low temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s. To start our weekend off, temperatures will once again be in the low 90s to upper 90s for the Panhandle. The humidity will remain high with dewpoints in the upper 70s to low 80s. This will give a sultry feel to the air and it’ll deliver triple digit heat indexes once again. With that, another Excessive Heat Warning has been issued for Saturday. Make sure to stay hydrated, stay inside, and keep your pets cool too!

Today we saw mostly sunny skies, apart from isolated afternoon storms off the sea breeze. Tonight will be calm and quiet across Northwest Florida. Skies will be mostly clear overnight. Tomorrow is going to be another sunny day with the chance of isolated afternoon storms.
