PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - This hump day has been a dreary one across the Panhandle.
We saw scattered storms today, mainly toward our eastern counties. With that, parts of Gulf County saw more than four inches of rainfall! We did see a couple of strong storms move through that prompted a few afternoon Severe Thunderstorm Warnings. One of the storms that moved through Holmes County reportedly knocked some trees down near Hathaway Mill Road according to local storm reports.
This evening will be mostly dry, but storms will begin to move back in early tomorrow morning.
Temperatures today, once again, sat on the cooler side with highs in the low to mid 80s. Remember, temperatures would usually be in the low 90s for this time of the year. Tonight’s temperatures will sink into the mid to upper 70s.
