Mild temps ahead for the weekend
PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Happy Friday! It was a gorgeous end to the work week with clear skies and mild temperatures.
Temperatures today climbed into the 70s which is a little warmer than average as temperatures should be in the upper 60s for this time of the year. Temperatures tomorrow will climb into the mid 70s and temperatures will be a tad cooler thanks to an influx of cloud cover on Sunday. Expect afternoon temperatures to top out in the low 70s.
Tonight’s skies will remain mostly clear, but we could see patchy fog early Saturday morning. Saturday will bring a nice dose of sun, but by late Saturday we could see a shower or two, north of I-10, due to a weak cold front moving in from the north. A spotty shower is possible along the beaches in the overnight hours. Sunday will be mainly dry despite an increase in clouds.
